Filtering your idea through the finance lens is your first opportunity to test the feasibility and scalability of your venture. Depending on your overall entrepreneurial objective and your audience, the metrics to develop and present may be different. But there are some basic projections and metrics that will apply in most circumstances. This one-hour workshop will review a few standard reports and other measures using a sample set of ready-made templates that you can later modify as needed for your financials portion of the College Leap competition. Please go to the following google-drive folder where I will place some resources that should review prior to the Financials workshop. My assumption will be that you will have reviewed these templates by the time of our workshop ("Pre-work"): https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1KvZYi4l4PUAhxwLG8SduF5gUmitY-U-w?usp=sharing [note: I will upload the materials within 1 week of the workshop at the latest; Message me at navajose@fhda.edu if you have problems with the link above]
