At Creative Research Challenge, we believe every community college student can be a creative researcher if he/she is given the right guidance and opportunity! CRC hopes to bridge the resource gap for community college students in research field.

The Annual Theme for 2021 is COVID-19, and you need to center your research topic around this theme.

THE INTRO

Things you should know before you register for CRC

RESEARCH
PROPOSAL

  1. The size of each team must be from 1 to 5 members, all of whom should be currently involved in one or more U.S. Community College
  2. You need to submit your proposal by March 12th, which require you to describe key elements of your research. You do NOT need to begin your research at this point.
  3. You can submit your research proposal using the link here
  4. We will inform within a week of the deadline whether your research proposal enter the second round

CONDUCT
RESEARCH

  1. You will work with your team to conduct your research based on your research proposal;
  2. You can also schedule office hours with research mentors at College Leap to discuss your research and receive help
  3. You need to submit a 3-5 minutes presentation video and a two-page extended abstract
  4. Your abstract will be included in 2021 College Leap Community College Student Research Journal.
  5. One - two teams from each track will move on to the final round.

FINAL ROUND

  1. The CRC final round will also be 2021 College Leap Community College Student Researcher Forum
  2. Each final round team will have 12 minutes to present their research results to our advisors
  3. Awards will be presented to best-performing teams.
