Virtual Business Case & Pitch Competitions for Community College Students
Teams will present business ideas and plans virtually and compete in multiple regional and national rounds.
Teams will solve a real-world business problem in the form of proposals and presentations.
Individuals or teams (up to 5 members) will be asked to solve a business problem faced by an actual company in roughly a month. All community college students are welcome (your colleges do NOT need to be CCBI participating colleges).
To participate, your team will need to
(1) Register using the link below (the case and instructions will be announced after the registration deadline)
(2) Submit a proposal to address key messages of your solution;
(3) A handful of teams (5–7 teams) with the best proposals will be invited to present their solutions to the judges. (teams must have presentation decks ready before the presentation day)
Updated Timeline
Individuals or teams (up to 5 members) will be asked to present their business ideas and plans virtually to judges in multiple regional and national rounds. Each CCBI participating college will be eligible to recommend up to 2 participating teams.
To participate:
(1) Your college needs to sign up as a CCBI participating college (How to sign up for your college?)
(2) You need to ask the CCBI Advisor at your college to recommend your team (you can find the advisor below);
(3) At the time of the recommendation, your team should have already completed the whole, or most part of, presentation deck.
(4) Depending on the region your college is in, you will need to compete in the regional qualifiers and finals. The best-performing teams from each region will move on to the national semi-finals and final.
