ENGLISH PROFICIENCY TEST

This year and even the last year, we are having been suffering through many inadequacies in education. It isn’t uncommon that many of us need to retake IELTS/TOEFL to fill in the university's transfer application form. So that today's blog will help you to get through your struggle.

As the pandemic does not over yet, IELTS and TOEFL have allowed candidates to take 100% online tests at home. However, this new method does not work for some of you. You can take the offline test in a specific place.

If you choose the option to take the test online, this is what you have to prepare.

For IELTS test-taker, you will need:

- A quiet, comfortable, and well-lit space to take your test on your own

- A laptop or desktop computer (Mac or PC only, you cannot take IELTS Indicator on a mobile or tablet device)

- Your computer meets the minimum and recommended system requirements (https://www.ieltsindicator.com/system-requirements/)

- A stable internet connection

- Speakers and Microphone on for the duration of the test

- Camera on and uncovered for the duration of the test

- The same passport or photo I.D. document that you used to book your test, with you for all parts of the test

- Speaker: Use an internal or external speaker to hear the proctor. Headsets or earphones aren't allowed.

- Camera must be moved to show the proctor a 360-degree view of the room, including your tabletop surface, before the test.

- You must be alone in a room with no one else entering during the test.

- You may not take notes on regular paper for security purposes.

- You may use 1 of the following to take notes:
